This Rosarita bracelet is sure to make a statement with its rich red color! The cabochon is set in fine silver and features a thick sterling silver bead border. Set on a hand hammered sterling silver band. The band is 6 inches with 1.25 inch gap for a total size of 7.25 inches. The bracelet is stamped sterling and with my makers mark.
Rosarita is glass slag created as a by-product of gold refining techniques used primarily during the 1940s through the 1970s. Beach sand rich in gold was smelted in open crucibles to extract precious metals. What remained after this crude smelting was a glassy, often richly colored material.
